Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to (i) To relax the 2nd condition imposed by the Trial Court in Crl.M.P.No.862/2021 on the file of the Principal Sessions Judge, Prl.Spl.Court under EC and NDPS Act, Chennai vide order 07.04.2021 in connection with Crime No.7/2021 registered for offences U/s.8(c) r/w 22(b) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act 1985. Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.C.ARUN KUMAR, Advocate for the petitioner, and of MR.S.KARTHIKEYAN, ADDITIONAL PUBLIC PROSECUTOR, on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- The Petitioner has filed this petition seeking to relax the 2nd condition imposed by the Trial Court in Crl.M.P.No.862/2021 vide order dated 07.04.

2021 for the offences punishable under Sections 8 (c) read with Section 22(b) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 in Crime No.7 of 2021, while granting bail. 2.Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor strongly opposes this petition and submitted that the petitioner has been complying with the conditions only from 17.04.2021.

4.It is seen from the submission that the petitioner has been complying with the conditions only from 17.04.2021. However, considering the prevailing COVID-19 situation, this Court is inclined to relax the condition already imposed on the petitioner, who shall https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

appear before the respondent-police as and when required for interrogation. This petition is ordered.
