It appears that the petitioner being convicted in a criminal case, has been terminated from service in exercise of power under Section 3 (c) (i) (1) of the Tamil Nadu Police Subordinate Services (Discipline and Appeal Rules) Rules, 1955. Challenging the same, she has come to this Court indicating the ground that her sentence having been suspended, the said termination order should not have been passed. However, during the course of hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw this Writ Petition and challenge the termination of the petitioner in a appropriate time. In view of such submission, this Writ Petition stands disposed of as being withdrawn giving such liberty. No costs. Consequently, connected Writ Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
