J U D G M E N T

The sole appellant Gopal @ Gopalakrishnan has come up with this appeal challenging the conviction and sentence imposed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Coimbatore Division in S.C.No.219 of 2011 convicting him under Section 302 IPC and sentenced him to undergo imprisonment for life.

2. Today, when the appeal was taken up, the learned counsel for the appellant submitted that the appellant is no more and thus, the appeal stands abated.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions from the respondent submitted that it is true that the appellant died on 06.04.2016 and thus, the appeal stands abated. No one has come up on record to prosecute the appeal further. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
