O R D E R

This contempt petition has been filed seeking to punish the respondent for committing grave contempt of Court by grossly disobeying the order dated 14.11.2018 in W.P.No.27739 of 2018.

2. This Court on 14.11.2018 had passed an order directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.06.2018 and pass appropriate orders on

merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks. Though the respondent had not passed orders within the time stipulated, the order has been passed on 11.07.2009 rejecting the claim of the petitioner.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would contend that despite the direction that the representation has to be considered on merits, the order passed without going into the merits of the case by not discussing the documents produced by the petitioner. However, as there is an order passed by the respondent in compliance with the direction issued, the merits and demerits of the case can be considered only when the order passed on 11.07.2019 is put to challenge.

4. As the respondent had complied with the direction of this Court, the contempt petition is closed. It is open to the petitioner to challenge the said order, if aggrieved, before the appropriate forum. No costs.
