ORDER

The petition has been filed to direct the respondents to grant promotion to the petitioner in the post of BT Assistant (Science) pursuant to the panel issued/published by the respondents for the year 2019 with all consequential service and monetary benefits.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner was appointed as Secondary Grade Teacher at Pappiredipatti Union and later deployed to Pennagaram Union due to surplus teachers. Since the respondents drawn a panel for the post of BT Assistant (Science), the petitioner made representation to maintain his seniority in the parent school which was also affirmed by the respondents. While so, one person namely Sangeeth filed writ petition and obtained interim orders to keep one vacant post in Pappiredipatti Union.

3. Since the said person withdraw his writ petition, the petitioner made a detailed representation to the respondents to grant him the promotion to the post of BT Assistant (Science) pursuant to the panel issued in the year 2019, for which there is no response till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

5. Considering the relief now sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.03.2026, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
