JUDGMENT

[Judgment of the court was delivered by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.] This appeal has been filed by the sole accused in S.C.No.108 of 2012 on the file of the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Tirupur, challenging his conviction and sentence for the offence under Section 302 of IPC. 2.

Today when the appeal was taken up, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the appellant died https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

as early as on 25.09.2014 itself. In support of his contention, he has also produced a copy of the Death Certificate issued by the Registrar of Birth and Death, Palladam Municipality, dated 09.10.2014.

No one has come on record to prosecute the appeal on behalf of the appellant. Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed as abated.
