O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.01.2017 and issue patta to the petitioner.

2.Challenging the order passed by the 3rd respondent, the petitioner has given a representation to the 2nd respondent on 18.01.2017, which has not yet been considered by the 2nd respondent.

3.Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondents 1 to 6 submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation as an appeal and dispose of the same, after giving notice to the respondents 7 & 8 in accordance with law. 4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 18.01.2017 and pass orders, after giving notice to the respondents 7 & 8, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
