Respondents Prayer : This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records of the 1st respondent in connection with the letter signed on 15.04.2009 and quash the same. ORDER

The petitioner prays to issue a a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records of the 1st respondent in connection with the letter signed on 15.04.2009 and quash the same. 2.It is the case of the petitioner that the first respondent has directed him to remove the notice board and orally informed the Vice-President and the Secretary of the Union to remove the Union flag post in Kuminipettai post. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court by way of filing this writ petition.

3. Today, when the matter came up for hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that nothing survives in this writ petition and it may be dismissed as not pressed and he has made an endorsement to the effect:

"As the notice Board & flag post are allowed to install we do not press on the present writ petition."

4. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as not pressed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
