Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the Order No.1/G8A/56/TNSTC/2021 dated 23.04.2022 passed by the second respondent, quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to treat the period from 18.10.2018 till the petitioner is reinstated as duty with pay, with arrears and all other consequential benefits, award costs.

This writ petition has been filed challenging the show cause notice issued by the second respondent dated 23.04.2022, for the unauthorized absent of the petitioner.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that while pending this writ petition, the petitioner was imposed with punishment on other charges.

Recording the above submission, this Writ Petition is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the order of punishment in the manner known to law, if so advised. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no orders as to costs.
