2. This writ petition is filed to direct the second respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 27.02.2024 seeking for subdivision and transfer of patta in respect of the petitioner's plot in the light of judgment of this Court made in A.S.No.108 of 1991 dated 26.11.2001.
3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.
4. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the owner of the subject property. It is the contention of the petitioner that the predecessor in title one Mohamed Iqbal filed a suit in O.S.No.546 of 1981 for declaration and permanent injunction and the said suit has been dismissed. As against the same an appeal has been filed in A.S.No.108 of 1991 and the same has been allowed by this Court by the judgment dated 26.11.2001. The grievance of the petitioner is that he has given a representation to the second respondent on 2/5

5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.02.2024 and pass appropriate orders on the same for subdivision of the property and to issue patta in the name of the petitioner in the light of the judgment of this Court in A.S.No.108 of 1991 dated 26.11.2001 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
