O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.1911 of 2011, on the file of the Inspector of Police, Land Grabbing Special Cell-I, Team-XV, Central Crime Branch, Chennai, to the file of CB-CID, Metro, Chennai-600 008 for further investigation and for filing final report.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. It is seen that investigation in Crime No.1911 of 2011 was completed and final report was filed on 14.10.2014 before the Special Court for Land Grabbing cases-LG1, Periamet.

4. The learned Magistrate is returning the final report on the ground that, the First Bench of this Court has granted stay of the G.O., constituting the Special Court.

5. Under such circumstances, the respondent Police is directed to file a final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate (regular court) within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the learned Magistrate shall take the same on file and pass appropriate orders.

6. With the above directions, the above Criminal Original Petition is closed.
