PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the second respondent police to provide police protection to the petitioner on her complaint dated 03.04.2020 pending before the second respondent police. For Petitioner : Mr.D.Nandhagopal For Respondents: Mr.S.Karthikeyan Additional Public Prosecutor.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent police to provide police protection to the petitioner on her complaint dated 0304.2020. 2.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint lodged by the petitioner has been misplaced and therefore if the petitioner lodges a fresh complaint, it would be considered.

Considering the above submission, the petitioner is directed to lodge a fresh complaint, on receipt of the same, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry, after issuing notice to the opposite parties and pass orders in accordance with law.
