ORDER

By this writ petition, the petitioner seeks the consideration and disposal of the representation dated 05.04.2024. The petitioner states that he participated in the tender floated in respect of TASMAC shop No.1513. He further states that he was the H2 bidder in respect thereof. Upon coming to know that the bid of the H1 bidder was rejected for failure to comply with tender conditions, the petitioner submitted representations dated 21.03.2024 and 05.04.2024. Since such representations did not elicit a response, the present writ petition was filed.

2. Mr.M.Sekar, learned standing counsel, appears for the respondents. He submits that he is unaware as to whether the award of tender to the H1 bidder was cancelled. He submits that the representation would be considered and disposed of by the 2nd respondent within a reasonable time.

3. The petitioner has placed on record an order issued in March 2024 cancelling the license issued in favour of one Jerome Raj. The petitioner's representations are also on record. By taking into account the assertion that 2/4

the petitioner was the H2 bidder, it is appropriate that the petitioner's representations be considered and disposed of.

4. Therefore, W.P.No.10605 of 2024 is disposed of by directing that the representations dated 21.03.2024 and 05.04.2024 be disposed of within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order by the 2nd respondent, after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner. There will be no order as to costs.
