PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner and his family members in connection with the case registered in Crime No.293/2015 u/s.174 Cr.P.C on the file of the Inspector of Police, G.5, Soonampedu Police Station, Kancheepuram District.

ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner and his family members in connection with the case registered in Crime No.293/2015 u/s.174 Cr.P.C on the file of the respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. It is seen that the wife of the petitioner died within seven years of marriage, in respect of which, a case has been registered in Crime No.293 of 2015 under Section 174 Cr.P.C. is under investigation. Hence, no blanket order of not to harass the petitioner can be passed. The petitioner is directed to co-operate in the enquiry. During the course of enquiry, he should not be harassed.
