Suspecting that the respondent police is not properly investigating the hit and run case, the present petition is filed to transfer the investigation to CB-CID.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there are several C.C.Tv Cameras installed in that area, but the police has not collected the footages. However, the counsel is not able to tell where the C.C.Tv Cameras are installed.

3. As far as the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) is concerned, he reports that so far investigation reveals that it is a hit and run case and the vehicle could not be identified, since there is not C.C.Tv Coverage in that stretch.

4. In view of the fact that this Court finds that no reason to transfer the investigation after 8 months of the incident which will give any fruitful result. The respondent police shall collect information from the complainant who has gathered about the identity of the vehicle which 2/4

cause the death of his son and probe on those lines before filing final report and expedite the investigation and complete the same within a reasonable time .

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed. of.
