Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the Memorandum of Grounds in Crl.A.No.762/2017 on the file of the High Court, the High Court will be pleased to enlarge the Petitioner/Appellant on bail by suspending the sentence imposed upon the Appellant/Accused (A2) by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate/Special Judge, Ariyalur in Spl.Case.No.13 of 2012 dated 31.10.2017 pending disposal of the above appeal and pass such further or other orders. Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the Memorandum of Grounds in Crl.A.No.762/2017 on the file of the High Court and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.P.GANESAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR. P. GOVINDARAJAN, Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to suspend the sentence of imprisonment imposed in the judgment dated 31.10.2017 made in Spl.Case.No.13 of 2012 on the file of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate/Special Judge, Ariyalur.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner/appellant submits that the appellant has paid fine amount and seeks suspension of sentence. Since there are some arguable points available in the appeal, this Court is inclined to suspend the sentence until further orders on condition that i) the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.1,00,000/-

(Rupees One Lakh only), to the credit of Spl.Case.No.13 of 2012 on the file of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate/Special Judge, Ariyalur, within a period of three weeks from the date of the receipt of a copy of this Order and also (ii) the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate/Special Judge, Ariyalur, within the said period and also (ii) the petitioner shall appear before the said Magistrate Court on the first working day of every English calendar month, at 10.30 am, until further orders. -sd/- 06/12/2017 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.)
