Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to grant one month leave without escort to the petitioner, namely Ravichandran @ Dhanasekaran, S/o.Palaiyam now confined in Central Prison at Puzhal-1 before this Court.

ORDER

(1) This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner requesting the authorities to grant thirty days leave without escort by submitting a representation dated 23.04.2021.

(2) It will be highly impossible on our part to examine the merits of the said representation. The 1st respondent may examine it and also keep in mind, the recent directions given by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in view of COVID-19 pandemic, which also affects the prison inmates and take a decision and in any way, the decision is to be taken on or before 21.05.2021.
