ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 21.04.2021 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 395, 397, 364-A, 506 (II) of I.P.C and Sections 25 (1-B)(a) and 27(1) of Arms Act, 1959 in Crime No.185 of 2021 pending on the file of the respondent police and hence, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that, the de facto complainant is involved in real estate business and it appears that there is a rival party and issues between the rival groups; on 18.04.2021, when the de facto complainant along with Sivan and Rajendar had been to Villupuram bus stop in connection with real estate business, Sivan and Rajendar said to have been kidnapped at the knife point and therefore, this case came to be filed.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he seeks to release the petitioner on bail. He further submitted that A1 and A2 to A4 were granted bail by this Court in Crl.OP.Nos.8633 & 8572 of 2021, respectively, on 06.05.2021 and prays to grant bail to the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent strongly opposed this bail petition on the ground that there are 26 similar previous cases pending against the petitioner.

5. Taking note of the nature of the offence and also the fact that there are 26 similar previous cases pending against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to him.
