..Respondents PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to settle all the retirement and other monetary benefits with interest at the rate of 12% p.a. from the date of superannuation i.e., from 01.07.2004. ORDER
The grievances of the writ petitioner is that the terminal and pensionary benefits due to him are not settled. 2.However, it is brought to the notice of this Court that during the pendency of the writ petition, necessary pension proposals were submitted by the authorities concerned and now, it is pending before the Accountant General of Tamil Nadu for consideration.

3.The learned counsel for the writ petitioner submitted a proceedings dated 16.02.2016, stating that the pension proposals were returned to the Department with a direction to resubmit the same for taking further action. It is informed that the pension proposals were resubmitted by the authorities concerned. Such being the factum of the case, the Accountant General is bound to process the pension proposals and pass orders as early as possible and without causing any undue delay as any belated settlement will cause prejudice to the writ petitioner. 4.With these observations, the writ petition stands disposed of.
