This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file final report in Crime No.1 of 2018 on the file of the respondent within a specific time frame as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent.
3.Taking into consideration the nature of the allegations in the FIR, this Court cannot issue a direction to the respondentPolice to complete the investigation within a time bound manner. However, the respondent-Police is directed to expeditiously complete the investigation and file a Closure Report or a Charge Sheet as the case may be, under due intimation to the de facto complainant.
