ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 1 st respondent to receive and register the sale deed and release the document.

Heard Mrs.Gayathri Vasudevan, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.A.Tamilvanan, learned Additional Government Pleader for 1 st respondent.

The sale deed that was presented for registration by the petitioners before the 1 st respondent was refused to be registered on the ground that a protest petition has been given by the 2 nd respondent.

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the 1 st respondent submitted that the protest petition was considered and it was found that the property for which such protest petition was made by the 2 nd

respondent is not covered in the sale deed which was presented for registration. The communication to that effect was also issued by the registration department and it has been received by the petitioners.

Considering the above submission, the sale deed presented for registration by the petitioners shall be registered by the 1 st respondent, if it is otherwise in order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
