Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner Association dated 02.04.2016 regarding protecting the children's park and the water tank situated in the land allotted for park and public use at RSP Nagar, Dharapuram 638 606.

By consent the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The petitioner would state that a layout was formed at Sitharawuthenpalayam, Dharapuram Taluk in SF.Nos.169/1, 170/1, 171B under the name and style of RSP Nagar and it is to be used for children's park and as per the sanctioned plan 67 cents of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

land was earmarked for children's park, water tank and other public utilities. The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that the said land is being used by anti-social elements for illegal activities and thereby preventing the users of the public amenity and in this regard, complaint was given to the Inspector of Police, Dharapuram Police Station and representation was also given to the first respondent and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.S.Selvathirumurugan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.S.Ramesh, learned Government Advocate who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4.Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the representation, directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 02.04.2016, in accordance with law and pass orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
