ORDER

The civil revision petition is filed seeking a direction to Subordinate Court, Poonamallee to dispose of the petition for divorce filed by the petitioner in HMOP.No.475 of 2020 within a time stipulated by this court.

2. The petitioner herein filed main OP seeking divorce on the ground of cruelty. The counter of the respondent was filed as early as 15.09.2022.

3. A perusal of the e-court status filed in the typed set of papers would indicate that earlier the respondent was set ex-parte and then, the said order was

set aside and the matter was posted for enquiry as early as 09.12.2024. Thereafter, there is no substantial progress in the case. Therefore, this Court is inclined to issue direction to the trial court to dispose of the OP as expeditiously as possible.

4. With this direction, the civil revision petition stands disposed of. No costs.
