The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 23.03.2024 for the alleged offence under Sec.4(1)(aa), 4(1-A) of TNP Act r/w 328 of I.P.C. in Crime No.98 of 2024, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The learned Govt. Advocate (Crl. Side), on instructions would submit that the petitioner has been detained as a Goonda under Sec. 2(f) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

3. Recording the submissions of the learned Govt. Advocate (Crl. Side), this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
