O R D E R

With consent of both counsel, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner was dismissed from service, by order dated 03.08.2010, by the Superintendent of Central Prison, Cuddalore. The petitioner filed an appeal against the said order and the appeal was rejected by the 4th respondent by order dated 27.10.2010. Against the order of rejection of the appeal, the petitioner is said to have preferred a revision petition before the Government. It is stated in paragraph No.6 of the affidavit that the revision petition was https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

taken on file by the Government in Government Letter No.19978/PriII/2014-1 dated 10.04.2014. In these circumstances, the petitioner has sought for a direction to the first respondent Government to dispose of the said revision petition.

3. Hence, a direction is issued to the first respondent to dispose of the revision petition of the petitioner which was taken on file in Government Letter No.No.19978/Pri. II/2014-1 dated 10.04.2014 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
