Prayer : Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus direct Respondent Nos.1 to 3 to advise and direct Respondent No. 4 to accept the School Fees for the academic year 2020 -2021 for the petitioner's son A.Kadhir.

O R D E R

Mr.M.Elumalai, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for respondents 1 to 3.

2. This Court places on record its deep appreciation to the efforts taken by Mr.M.Elumalai, learned Additional Government Pleader, who, on receipt of the copies of the writ petition, had taken up the matter in time and had a discussion with the Authorities.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the fourth respondent namely Sri Venkateswara Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Victory Avenue, Thirumullaivoil, Chennai had refused to receive the fees of the son of the petitioner by name A.Kadhir. It is stated that a representation was given in that regard on 06.3.2021.

4. However, Mr.M.Elumalai, learned Additional Government Pleader states that the fourth respondent, pursuant to the discussion, which he had, had accepted to receive the fees provided they are tendered within a specified period of time.

5. In turn, the learned counsel for the petitioner has stated that the petitioner is prepared to pay the fees within one week.

6. The third respondent has been described in the cause title as the Chief Educational Officer, Avadi and the correct officer is the District Educational Officer, Ambattur. The representation of the petitioner may be forwarded to the District Educational Officer, Ambattur to reach his office on or before 19.5.2021 expressing his intention to pay the fees and the fees should be paid on or before 25.5.2021. Necessary orders shall be passed on or before 26.5.2021. This is to be considered as a stand alone case.

7. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
