Respondent Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to issue community certificate to the petitioner's son D.Arunkumar that he belongs to Domban (SC) community based upon the community certificate already issued to the petitioner's daughter D.Aruni in proceedings in Na.Ka.No.2648/2010 dated 04.12.2010.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) The petitioner sought for the issuance of the community certificate to his son to the effect that he belongs to Scheduled Caste community. As the said request made on 22.05.2017 & 26.04.2019 followed by the last one dated 06.03.2020, are not considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. We have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

3. Though the petitioner sought for a larger relief, inasmuch as the respondent is the competent authority, we direct https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the said authority to consider the representation of the petitioner, particularly, the last one made on 06.03.2020 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
