ORDER
(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences publishable under Sections 188, 269, 279 of IPC and Section 4 (1)(a) of the Tamilnadu Prohibition Act, in Crime No.556 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in possession of 5 litres of Toddy, in a motor cycle, during COVID19 period. Hence, the complaint.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the respondent police has registered the case under Section 188, 269, 279 of IPC and Section 4 (1)(a) of the Tamilnadu Prohibition Act, in Crime No.556 of 2020 and on the very same day, the petitioner has been released on the station bail.
