Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay the petitioner the withheld Death-cum-Retirement Gratuity of Rupees Ten Lakhs forthwith, together with 12% interest per annum.

ORDER

The learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner, made a submission that the Death-cum-Retirement Gratuity (DCRG) amount, due to the writ petitioner, had already been disbursed and the grievance of the writ petitioner had been redressed. Thus, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken in respect of the grounds raised in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
