JUDGMENT
The appellant and the respondent got married on 01.02.2023. Due to misunderstandings, the wife filed a petition for divorce by under Section 13(1)(i-a) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, before the Family Court in O.P.No.2117 of 2024. The said petition was dismissed on 21.01.2025.

Being aggrieved, the petitioner /wife preferred an appeal in C.M.A.No.3614 of 2025, challenging the order passed by the Family Court.

During the pendency of the appeal, it appears that a compromise was arrived at between the husband and wife on 21.11.2025, to dissolve their marriage without contest. A compromise affidavit, duly signed by both parties, has been filed, wherein, they have agreed to 2/5
dissolve their marriage, solemnized on 01.02.2023, by mutual consent. They have also stated that they have taken back their respective articles and movables and no claims are pending between them. The wife has also given an undertaking that she will not claim maintenance for the past, present or future maintenance from the respondent. Both parties are present today before this Court.

Recording the compromise, this Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is disposed of. The marriage solemnized on 01.01.2023 is dissolved by mutual consent in terms of compromise. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No order as to costs. [Dr.G.J., J.] & [M.S.K., J.] 28.11.2025 3/5
