This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to file final report before the III Metropolitan Magistrate, Allikulam, Chennai in Cr.No.717 of 2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, investigation is pending in Crime No.717 of 2016 before the respondent.

4. The respondent-Police is directed to complete the investigation and file a Final Report or a Closure Report as the case may be, expeditiously, under due intimation to the de facto complainant.
