This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to extend the time by two weeks to comply with the order dated 06.12.2017 passed by the Principal Sessions Judge, Tiruppur in Crl.M.P.No.1488 of 2017.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials placed on record.
3.The petitioner was granted anticipatory bail in Crl.M.P.No.1488 of 2017 by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Tiruppur on 06.12.2017, on condition that she should surrender before the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Tiruppur within 15 days from the date of the order. The petitioner did not surrender before the learned Magistrate. 21⁄2 months later, the petitioner filed an application in Crl.M.P.No.424 of 2018, for extension of time, which has been dismissed by the learned Sessions Judge, Tiruppur on 13.03.2018. Challenging the said order, the petitioner has filed the present petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4.In the opinion of this Court, the order passed by the learned Sessions Judge does not warrant interference, inasmuch as the petitioner has chosen to file the extension application, 21⁄2 months after she was granted anticipatory bail. This shows that the petitioner has no regard for judicial orders. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to approach the Sessions Court, Tiruppur and file a fresh anticipatory bail application narrating all the facts without suppression.
With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
