The petitioner / wife has filed this petition for transfer of the proceedings in HMOP No.154 of 2014 pending on the file of II Additional Sub Court, Coimbatore to the file of Principal Family Court, Coimbatore, to be tried along with M.C.No.27 of 2016, filed by her. The transfer sought

for is within the same campus and the petition filed by the petitioner / wife is for maintenance and the petition filed by the respondent / husband is for divorce.

2. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, H.M.O.P.No.154 of 2014 is withdrawn from the file of II Additional Sub Court, Coimbatore and is transferred to the file of Principal Family Court, Coimbatore, to be tried along with M.C.No.27 of 2016. A direction is issued to the Principal Family Court, Coimbatore, to conduct joint trial and dispose of both the petitions, as expeditiously as possible.

3. The Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected civil miscellaneous petition is closed.
