Respondents Prayer: This Writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, seeking a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records in pursuant to the Impugned Orders passed by the 3rd respondent in Proc.No.EDN/K/CMF I 66/390/2003 dated 20.12.2003 and Proc.No. EDN/K/CM/F C 79/392/2003 dated 22.12.2003 and quash these orders and consequently direct the respondents to post the petitioner as Secondary Grade Teacher in R.C.High School, Palliyadi, Kanyakumari District. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. This petition is filed in the year of 2004 and it is pending for more than 14 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

years. The prayer sought for in this Writ petition is to issue a direction to the respondents to transfer the petitioner to R.C.High School, Palliyadi, Kanyakumari District as Secondary Grade Teacher.

2. It is brought to the notice by the counsel that now the petitioner is more than 58 years. Hence, there is nothing survives in this writ petition which becomes infructuous.

3. In the result, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
