ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the 2nd respondent to register a case on the complaint dated 03.06.2016, given by the petitioner and to investigate and file a final report within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on a similar complaint given by the petitioner, petition enquiry is pending in CSR.No.331 of 2016 and the second respondent-Police is taking steps to have the complaint in CSR.No.331 of 2016 to be https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

transferred to the District Crime Branch, Ariyalur, as the amount involved exceeds Rs.12,00,0000/- and further four persons have alleged to have been cheated.

4. Recording the same, the second respondent-Police is directed to immediately transfer the complaint to the District Crime Branch, Ariyalur. The Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Ariyalur is directed to conduct enquiry and take action in accordance with law.
