ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to issue patta in favour of the petitioner for the property more fully disclosed in the prayer of the writ petition. 2.
The petitioner submitted an application dated 12.07.2025 to the 2nd respondent along with supporting documents seeking grant of patta in his name for the said property. Since the said representation has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 3.
Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. The learned Government Advocate on instructions submitted that the 1st respondent has already forwarded the petitioner's application to the 2nd respondent through proceedings dated 22.12.2025. 4.
No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's application seeking grant of patta is considered on merits and in accordance
with law after hearing the objections of all necessary parties, which includes the neighbouring land owners,within the time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5.
This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's application dated 12.07.2025, on merits and in accordance with law, for grant of patta in his name for the property more fully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents and after hearing the objections of all the necessary parties which includes the neighbouring land owners within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
