Respondent(s) PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, calling for the records relating to the lease of lands comprised in R.S.Nos.270, 271/1 and 271/2 situated at Alankottai Village now forming part of the SIPCOT Mini Textile Park-Tiruvarur, including the registered lease deed in Doc. No.195 of 2026 dated 17.02.2026 on the file of the Ullikottai Sub-Registration office, and quash the same as illegal and without authority of law and consequently direct the respondents to restore the said lands in R.S. Nos.270, 271/1 and 271/2 situated at Alankottai village and R.S. Nos.711/1 and 712/2 situated at Athikottai Village, Mannargudi taluk, Tiruvarur to their original status and direct the respondents not to alienate, lease, transfer or in any manner encumber the said lands for any purpose other than the original religious purpose or the educational endowment purpose For Petitioner(s):

ORDER

When the case was taken up, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave of this Court to withdraw this writ petition with a liberty to approach the civil court. He also made an endorsement in the case bundle to that effect.

2. Recording the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn with a liberty to approach the competent civil court. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions stand closed.
