This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to expedite the investigation in Cr.No.210 of 2016 and submit final report before the competent court of jurisdiction and take appropriate action in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, investigation is pending in Crime No.210 of 2016 before the respondent.

4. The respondent-Police is directed to complete the investigation and file a Final Report or a Closure Report as the case may be, expeditiously, under due intimation to the de facto complainant.
