PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, seeking Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on my representation dated 02.03.2020 and pass orders.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issuance of wirt of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner within the time fixed by this Court.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the property was originally owned by his father. He died in the year 1988 leaving behind his wife and children. The petitioner along with other family members have also dealt with the property and certain portion of the property was sold and they retained 0.26 acres. The further case of the petitioner is that while conducting the survey, the property that was retained by the petitioner was also added in the patta. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner submitted an application on 02.03.2020 under the Patta Pass Book Act, 1983, and sought for the modification of the patta and to remove the mistake that was committed while issuing patta. Since his representation was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions. 3.Heard Mr.G.Jeremiah, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.K.Parameshwaran, learned Government Advocate, appearing on behalf of the respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.Taking into consideration, the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief that has been sought for in the writ petition, there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 02.03.2020 and to deal with the same strictly in accordance with law. The respondent before conducting the enquiry and passing final orders, shall issue notice to interested parties if any and give them a opportunity. The respondent shall complete the enquiry and pass final orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5.The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the respondent alongwith a copy of the representation dated 02.03.2020 and all the other relevant documents and also a copy of this order.

6.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
