The Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking Writ
of Mandamus, directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to provide adequate protection for performing KUMBABISHEGAM of Arulmighu Pillai Muniyappan Temple situated at Jegathap Village and Post, Krishnagiri Taluk and District on 13.06.2019 or subsequent dates whenever KUMBABISHEGAM is performed.
2.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the 2nd respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 26.09.2018 for seeking police protection, after giving an opportunity of hearing the 3rd respondent and pass orders in view of the report filed on the Peace Committee dated 16.10.2018, passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Krishnagiri and in accordance with law within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
3.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
