This petition has been filed seeking to grant Leave to the petitioner to file criminal appeal against the order of acquittal passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate II at Walajapet in STC No.232 of 2017 dated 19.12.2017.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner filed complaint under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act in S.T.C.No.232 of 2017 before the learned Judicial Magistrate II at Walajapet and the same ended in acquittal. Challenging the same, the petitioner filed Criminal Appeal No.10 of 2018 before the learned II Additional District and Sessions Judge, Vellore at Ranipet and the same ended in conviction. Challenging the same, the respondent preferred Crl.R.C.No.262 of 2020 before this Court and the same ended in acquittal with liberty to the petitioner herein to file appeal. Hence, the petitioner has filed this petition seeking to grant leave to file appeal.
