Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd and 3rd respondent to survey measure and fix the boundaries stones in the petitioners property comprised in Survey No. 169 after sub division S.No. 169/6E1 to an extent of about 0-1.74 hectare and Survey No. 169 after sub division S.No. 169/6E2A1 to an extent of about 0- 0.45 hectare in Nallur Village, Denkanikottai Taluk, Krishnagiri district, by disposing of the petitioners online application dated 21.11.2015 vide application No. 2026/ 0123/ 31/ 0015552 and 12.3.2025 vide application No. 2026/ 0123/ 31/ 001755 and the same within a time to be stipulated by this Court and pass orders.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to survey and demarcate the property, which according to the petitioner is owned by him, based on his online application, dated 21.11.2025 and the subsequent application dated 12.03.2026 with the assistance of the 4th respondent, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner had submitted an application through on-line on 21.11.2025 and the subsequent application on 12.03.2026 for the aforesaid purpose. Since the same were not considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), accepts notice on behalf of the 3rd respondent.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the 2nd respondent is directed to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's property more fully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other party whom they deem fit to put on notice, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of in the following manner:- (a) Before surveying the lands in question, the 2nd respondent is directed to issue notice to the neighbouring land owners, and also to any other party, if they deem fit to put on notice. (b) After receiving objections if any and after considering the same, the 2nd respondent shall conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property more fully described in the prayer to this writ petition, on merits and in accordance with

law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

(c) If the need arises for police assistance and on a request made by the 2nd respondent, the 4th respondent shall render police assistance for the effective implementation of this order.

(d) There shall be no order as to costs.
