ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to file a final report in Crime No.222 of 2023 within stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2. Pursuant to the order passed by this Court on 03.03.2026, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor has filed a status report and submitted that based on the complaint of the defeacto complainant, the case was registered in Crime No.222 of 2023 for offences under Sections 294(b), 353, 506(i) IPC r/w 184 and 185 MV Act against the accused on 18.07.2023. Further reported that, on 16.08.2023, the Sub Inspector of Police, has produced the seized vehicle before the Judicial Magistrate, Katpadi in CP. No.166/2023. Now thereafter investigation has been completed on 03.07.2024, filed the charge sheet before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Katpadi and the same has been taken on C.C. No.61 of 2026 on 09.04.2025. The case is now posted for further proceedings on 30.04.2026.
