Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus to call for the records relating to the detention order issued by the second respondent herein in B.C.D.F.G.I.S.S.S.V.No.34/2020 dated 07.07.2020 and quash the same and direct the respondents herein to produce the body of the detenu viz, Thameem Ansari S/o.Jalaludeen, aged about 43 years, the husband of the petitioner herein and set him at liberty from the fourth respondent prison viz., the Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai, forthwith.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in B.C.D.F.G.I.S.S.S.V.No.34/2020 dated 07.07.2020, detaining her husband as "Goonda" under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.3662, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department, dated 04.09.2020 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
