Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue Patta in Petitioner name for the property bearing S.No.1368/16 and S.No.1368/36 to an extent of 3600 Sq.ft. situated at Khaji Saheb Street, Denkanikottai Town, Krishnagiri District. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The petitioner claims to be the owner of the housesite bearing S.No.1368/16 and S.No.1368/36 admeasuring to an extent of 3600 sq.ft., situated at Khaji Saheb Street, Denkanikottai Town, Krishnagiri District and he submitted an application dated 24.02.2012 to the third respondent for transfer of name and issuance of patta and thereafter, it was followed by reminder dated 29.03.2012. The

jurisdictional Village Administrative Officer has also issued a notice to the petitioner calling upon him to come and appear before the office of the third respondent along with necessary documents for the purpose of conducting enquiry and the petitioner also appeared for the same. The petitioner thereafter submitted a representation dated 29.03.2012 to the first respondent about the non issuance of patta and the first respondent has inturn directed the third respondent to inform the petitioner about the action taken and given a representation in this regard to their office. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that inspite of the deligent efforts taken by the petitioner to get name transfer and get patta, nothing has fructified and hence, came forward to file this writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.K.Thiruvengadam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Digvijaya Pandian, learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4.Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the representation made by the petitioner directs the third respondent to consider and dispose of the application/ representation dated 24.02.2012 as well as the communication sent by the office of the first respondent in Na.Ka.21052/2012/H2 dated 31.07.2012 and pass orders in accordance with law after putting on notice the persons concerned within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as the persons concerned.
