Respondents PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents herein to issue a clarification certificate clarifying the difference in registration number in the certified copy of the petitioner's birth certificate issued on 09.03.2005 (registration No.14) and certified copy of the birth certificate issued on 14.02.2011 (registration No.07/1990) and consequently direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to issue a fresh birth certificate to the petitioner with correct registration number as per record by considering the petitioner's representation dated 24.07.2017. O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing respondents 1 and 2 to issue a clarification certificate clarifying the difference in registration number in the petitioner's birth certificate issued on 09.03.2005 (registration No.14) and certified copy of the birth certificate issued on 14.02.2011 (registration No.07/1990) and consequently, direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to issue a fresh birth certificate to the petitioner with correct registration number as per record by considering the petitioner's representation dated 24.07.2017. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the certified copy of her birth certificate issued on 14.02.2011 and her birth certificate issued on 09.03.2005 contain different registration numbers and therefore, the same has to be clarified by the respondents 1 and 2 so as to enable the petitioner to utilise the said certificate before the concerned authorities. Ventilating such grievance, the petitioner has made the said representation which is not considered so far.

3. Therefore, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
