The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for an alleged offence punishable under Sections 406, 120(B) and 420 IPC in Crime No.42 of 2023, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He is ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that, sofar 105 complaints have been received. Totally a sum of Rs.1,17,00,000/- was cheated. The accused have used the amount to buy properties. Hence, he vehemently opposed for the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

gd 4.Considering the conduct of the petitioner and the sum of amount cheated by them, this Court is of the view that this case needs detailed investigation and not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
