Side) *********** COMMON ORDER These Criminal Original Petitions have been filed to register the complaint dated 10.04.2019 given by the petitioner and also to direct the respondent police to give police protection to the petitioner and his property. 2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner purchased a property at Aminjikarai and executed a sale deed by one S.Kalyanasundaram vide sale deed document No.1432 of 2018 and the same was duly registered by SRO, Anna Nagar and the petitioner was in possession and enjoyment of the property till date. While so, during the month of September 2018, one Murugan belongs to a Political party, residing at Anna Nagar illegally trespassed in to the petitioner's property with several henchmen and demanded huge money and threatened him with dire consequences. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint on

29.09.2018 before the respondent police, the respondent police issued C.S.R.No.669 of 2018 and no action was taken against the accused persons. Thereafter, again the petitioner lodged a complaint on 10.04.2019. Since no orders have been passed, the petitioner has filed the present petitions with the aforesaid prayers.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent. 4.It is seen that the petitioner obtained interim injunction in his favour in O.A.No.338 of 2019 in C.S.No.230 of 2019 on the file of this Court on the basis of Interim order, the petitioner lodged a compliant on 05.04.2019 seeking for police protection. On receipt of the same, the respondent also issued C.S.R.No.669 of 2018.

5.Considering the above facts and circumstances, the respondent is directed to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner, in view of the order passed by this Court in O.A.No.338 of 2019 in C.S.No.230 of 2019 on 01.04.2019. 6.With the above directions, the Crl.O.P.No.9947 of 2019 is disposed of.

7.In view of the order passed in Crl.O.P.No.9947 of 2019, no order is necessary in Crl.O.P.No.9948 of 2019. Accordingly, Crl.O.P.No.9948 of 2019 is closed.
