The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent police to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.74 of 2026 before the jurisdictional Court. 1 / 4

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent police submitted that the investigation in this case is under progress and the first respondent police will be able to complete the investigation and file the final report within a period of four months.

Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court directs the first respondent police to complete the investigation and file the final report in Crime No.74 of 2026 within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.

Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
