O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to file the final report in Crime No.589 of 2015 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Based on the complaint dated 20.07.2015, given by the petitioner to the respondent, a case in Crime No.589 of 2015 has been registered under Section 3(1)(X) of SC/ST Prevention of Atrocity Act, 1989 read with Section 294(b) and 506(i) of IPC. Though the F.I.R. was registered on 20.07.2015, till date, the final report has not been filed. Hence, the present petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

4. Since the prayer is to direct the respondent to file a final report, this Court is not dealing with the other averments made in the petition. It is the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the complaint was https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

registered in the month of July, 2015 i.e., on 20.07.2015 and it will take some more time to complete the investigation.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.589 of 2015 pending on his file and file a final report as expeditiously as possible. The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
